Chris Buffa (Modojo): Nintendo's decision to cut the price of its 3DS- from $249.99 to $169.99- appears to have paid off. Recent calls to GameStops around the New York Metropolitan area revealed quite a few sellouts, while Japan reports 207,000 to 215,000 systems sold in one week.

Resident Evil Remake titles were a massive success for Capcom. Despite the success, the company should revisit the Revelations games for a breath of fresh air.
They were ok, but I prefer the main-line entries than the Berger episodic spin-offs.
Now, if they want to do an episodic RE game give us a legit Outbreak File 3 or just remaster the last 2.
They were meh. Their current output with remakes and new games is pretty good. 5 good RE games since RE7 in 2017.
No need to dillure the brand with more RE. Especially with more Revelations which is just watered down mainline RE.
Something like outbreak would be better. Kinda wish they did a scaled-down version of outbreak with RE3, RE8 instead of REVerse and Resistance.
I didn’t really like the revelations games. They weren’t horrible just not good enough to interest me
I'll pass. Tried playing Revelations on two separate occasions and on two separate platforms... got bored about two hours in.

From Xfire: "Steam users and the larger PC gaming community are lashing out at Capcom over a streak of sneaky DRM updates as the Japanese gaming giant continues to flirt with controversy"
Do they want more of their games to be torrented? Seems like it, I don't mind 🤣 Just ripped them a new asshole on Twitter, as I do not care what I say or post on there LOL.
This is classic Capcom. They everything they go on a hot streak and win back some consumer good will they have to turn around and burn it to the ground and have to start the whole process again.
Additional DRM just pushes people to pirate more. These ignorant executives just don't get it. Only the legitimate customer is affected by DRM. 😕

With series staple Mercenaries Mode returning to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, it’s time to remind fans of another mostly forgotten mode from the RE series. Reaching the second chapter in the 2012 3DS game Resident Evil: Revelations unlocked something called Raid Mode for players to enjoy. Unlike Mercenaries, Raid Mode is not a time-attack mode and instead operates as a more RPG-lite version of the main game. While players are expected to try and hammer down on a handful of levels in Mercenaries, Raid Mode gives players a much more expansive game type to play around with.
This mode was included in ports released on the seventh and eighth generations of consoles and was part of Resident Evil: Revelations 2, which was released in 2015. However, the Revelations duology is the only time that Raid Mode has existed in the massive Resident Evil franchise, and that should change in some future release.
I'd like to raid mode make a return in the future. When Capcom was hacked there was a as of yet announced RE game in there that I was hoping might turn into Revelations 3. There were also reports that whatever that RE game was scrapped and cancelled.
I agree with all of those except Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
paper mario series are awesome!
Needs more Pikmin.
Didn't Satoru Iwata say briefly one year, "We're making Pikmin 3", or something to that effect?
I swear he did.
and maybe there's a chance we will get tekken 3d.and ace combat i think 2012 is looking great for 3ds.all i hear is how 3ds has no games but i don't remember a time this early in a nintendo systems life where we great hard core games from 3rd partys like street fighter 4 3d,dead or alive dimensions, resident evil the mercenaries 3d,and 2 of those are exclusive to 3ds and all 3 have online multiplayer!and with ocarina of time 3d and a great new pilotwings there's some great 1st party games.not to mention some great gameboy and gameboy color games.and so far i really like the 2 3d classic i own.so i hope articles like this show 3ds has a bright future and it's not all doom and gloom like haters want it to be.
and if you can't wait till next year and somehow hate the games i mentioned starfox 64 3d comes out in september, pokemon rumble blast in october, super mario 3d land in november, and mario kart 7 with 8 player online in december, and not to mention by then we should have gamegear, nes, and turbo graphics 16 games on the virtual console.and if thats not enough you don't like nintendo and you only read these stories and comments just to hate!and for the rest of us if you on the fence with 3ds its one of my favorite systems i've ever owned and with all these great games coming out it just keeps getting better!
