Man, the only thing that disappoints me is that private matches don't seem to be talked about. :'( If BF had private matches, it'd my #1 game for sure, as playing with your friends is what makes it better, not having to play with people online who all try hard all the time and don't let you just run around in jets with your friends having great dogfights and tricks and just running into buildings to kill a single sniper, heh. :D

Well... I won't complain about 9 maps if they are for all of the modes. None of the stuff they pulled with BC2 please.(not saying that it was necessarily their decision to make)

They all need to be playable across all of the modes, right out of the box. None of this on disc dlc horseradish.

I didn't expect to see 2 classes of jets. 49 guns. FINALLY someone who puts more than 2 worthy pistols in a game.

I really hope the SOFLAM and UAV are available to the Recon class. So many times where I was able to get behind the enemy lines in past games, but I wanted to destroy all of their heavy armor instead of just sniping. Great way to get your team to push back the enemies from objectives. Let's hope they pull through on the promise that the Recon class will be more useful to the squads.

Bf3 looks great....but, I never really enjoyed the full war dynamic. That feeling of spawningband immediately getting sniped is magnified by douches who happen to be hammering the spawn with tank shells.

I know many people love it....but, I think why stop at the set up they have now? I wanna play a gun technician on a battleship firing long range missiles....no threat of douches, and I get to kill indiscriminately. Lol

Kidding....but I do prefer non-vehicle combat.
If they introduced a licence system where certain vehicles were unlocked much later in lvl progression I'd enjoy it more.

So now we know what the classes will be. I am very disappointed. 4 classes is just not enough. One might think that the number of classes isn't a big deal but it is. Battlefield 2 had 7 classes, they all had their different roles on the battlefield. They all had one simple mission. You couldn't survive all situations on your own. If you were the AT guy then you could do well against tanks and other vehicles but you needed someone else to compensate for all the other situations, for example, a squad mate playing some other class. Thats why you needed to stick together with your squad in BF2. this was not the case in BC2 since you could pretty much take out a tank, regenerate your health and take out infantry no matter what class you chose. The classes were relatively good at everything unlike BF2 where they were specialized on ONE thing. In BC2 you didn't need to stick with your squad to do well in a game so you could say that BF2 forced teamwork. Thats a good thing. For me, thats what the Battlefield-feel is all about. The number of classes makes a huge difference on gameplay.

I doubt that all of that stuff will be in the console version. And I'm a bit disappointed they didn't add a new game mode considering Rush is the only good game mode in Battlefield.

BF3? They need to go back to BF2 for the mainline. Heck, I'd settle for true-to-source remakes of BF2 and BC2 (w/ Vietnam). Everything they've done in the 'modern' era is just bad.

I've not played 2042 myself but after v I don't feel like it. I played a few hours of v with friends but it feels ultra sterile I can't figure it out but the game looks and feels clinical. The storys in the campaign were also bland and uninteresting and felt like a dull trudge through checkpoints as you waited for an ending.

I've played the franchise dating back to it's original PC launch and PS2 spin off games I did enjoy 1 overall and it's take on placing you in different scenarios and battles was interesting but not all that good imo as you couldn't really connect with any characters longer than 2 hours.

hardline for all the hate it recived was a fun story and a new take but a bad mp game

I feel like v overall was the turning point and instead of showing the gritty reality of war they turned everything sterile and presented it in a clean cut boring frame in order to pump it full of weird micro transactions overall they spent far to much time on trying to implant ray tracing and other graphical flourishes and forgot to make the game enjoyable

I mean thats all we've wanted since BF4 but they keep doing everything we don't want.
