Lol at that character design. He looks like a mix between Harry Potter and Drake from Uncharted. Nothing wrong with Drake but it doesn't at all fit with this setting. Shortcut hair, t-shirt and a robe. What were they thinking?

@jellyjelly

really...? you really have a problem with him wearing a shirt? LOL

JellyJelly5309d ago

I have a problem with him not fitting in with the rest of the games design. Everything around him looks 16th century whereas he looks like someone who would feel more at home riding his fixie bike while tweeting on his iPhone.

@jellyjelly

his outfit reminds you of a hipster? lol - http://bit.ly/oSdom5

would you prefer longer hair, shirtless, and a robe like in dmc3? or cowboy pants like in dmc4? or a leather shirt...? lol didn't know clothing had to match architecture.

@crXss - I would prefer if he looked more original, like the old Dante. That's what I'm getting at. This character doesn't stick out at all.

Also, I love Rocknrolla and Johnny Quid. The monologue with the piano where he likens life to a cigarette is genius. Underrated movie.

i love DMC3 the most and i'm actually really looking forward to this game. i wouldn't say i'm a die hard fan of the series but i've beaten 1, 3, and 4. never beat 2. these new screens look great!

i'm completely fine with his character design just cause it's reminiscent of Johnny Quid from RocknRolla (awesome movie if you haven't seen it)... i think i shall go watch that now.

The character design isn't the problem. It's the gameplay. Ninja Theory has proven with their last 2 games (only games?) that they can't do a DMC style game. Time will tell.

You sound like you’re just a ton of fun to be around.

franwex316d ago

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

Zenzuu315d ago

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

solideagle315d ago

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

VersusDMC315d ago

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.

Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.
