Gamescom 2011 press conference lineup

Gematsu: "Gamescom starts Wednesday, but the pre-show media briefings begin tomorrow. Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts, and NCSoft are the big four this year, each hosting their own press events."

Can't wait for Sony conference.

@below you read my mind that's what im most stoked for.

SuperKing5387d ago

Apparently we're going to see Space combat for Starhawk. Damn excited about that :D

LOGICWINS5387d ago

Hope a Starhawk beta is announced at the conference. I'd love to be able to play it this year.

SuperKing5387d ago

Only for the real Warhawk nuts I'm afraid. I've only sunk in 300 hours into it, nothing compared to the real pro's.

blumatt5387d ago (Edited 5387d ago )

Wow!!! Space combat. Heck yeah!! I'm definitely buying Starhawk day one now. I swear Sony has got the exclusives on lock for 2011 and, most likely, 2012 too. All those first party studios are starting to really shine and come through for the PS3. The PS4 should have one hell of a launch with tons of great exclusives. I hope to see Gran Turismo 6, LittleBigPlanet 3, etc, as well as some new IPs when the PS4 launches (2013??).

As far as Gamescom goes, I hope to see the PS Vita being shown, a $50-100 price cut for the PS3 and maybe a surprise game or two. *Psyched!*

Gamescom live? like E=3 so you can watch it online somewhere?

beastgamer5387d ago

all the gamescom trailers are on HQGameZ, and LAtrailers on youtube, most of the other channels are slow. If you don't want to miss out on anything.

im really intrigued to see Quantic Dream's next project and new games , no more of the same over and over and over again , ohh and new playstation vita info would be great too

BlindGuardian5387d ago

that's what I want, David Cage mentioned a few months ago that they were talking with Sony about an E3 reveal, it didn't happened so it's a good guess that they're showing it here

remember that last year Resistance 3 was announced

kza5387d ago (Edited 5387d ago )

Where can i watch live stream?
4get that just found the link

blumatt5387d ago (Edited 5387d ago )

Yes it is.

Halo:Anniversary should be the 1st remake to be nominated for a GOTY slot.

Halo is the only FPS multiplayer game that never gets boring. The feel of the multiplayer is amazing. You all who play since Halo:CE know what I mean.

X_GAMER_X5362d ago

I know what you mean dude. Halo is magic. Its the only game I always go back play the campaign. Not many games give that feeling. Evey time you play the campaign you find it new and exciting. Played throu my Halo ce 10 years copy for about one month ago. Still amazing like the first time. Almost every game you buy now you want just to finish it and park it. As for multiplayer. You said it bro, its awsome. Can not wait for anniversary

Dota 2 preview: How Valve is building its first RTS from the ground up (DigitalTrends)

John Gaudiosi writes:Valve’s rich history with first-person shooters gets a break with Dota 2, a real-time strategy game that started life as a humble Warcraft mod.

Valve celebrated its latest video game, Dota 2, in a very big way at Gamescom 2011. The game maker awarded Team Na’Vi from Ukraine $1 million for winning the inaugural Dota 2 Invitational video game tournament, which took place at its booth over the course of five days in Cologne, Germany. Erik Johnson, product manager on Dota 2 at Valve, talks about the new game and why it’s a departure for the makers of hit franchises like Half-Life, Left 4 Dead and Portal.
