Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro and Atari have announced that they have settled a dispute from 2009 over the Dungeons & Dragons brand.

Cryptic Studios announced with a press release that more of its veteran developers have returned to the studio following tenures elsewhere.

The MMO studio says it’s “unifying legacy expertise with fresh perspectives”
Nilay writes: "Chris and I also talked a lot about Hasbro investing so heavily in games and digital media. For example, you’ll hear Chris mention several times how big the mobile game Monopoly Go is for Hasbro. And while Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons are already huge, load-bearing brands, Hasbro is also trying to expand more into the video game space with original games, like Exodus, which is slated to release next year."
Glad they got that figured out, just sucks Neverwinter is getting delayed as a result. RIP, Gary Gygax.
RPGs are better done with a pencil, paper and mountain dew. Good to know they've settled things.
I'm willing to bet the game will now come out in October 2012, when the third Neverwinter novel from R.A. Salvatore is released.
Good news I guess.
I think this also means we won't see any other "daggerdale"....... I hope.
