Even Gabe Newell isn't immune to being flamed in MOBAs
Sorry, couldn't hear you while you're bowing your head on your knees and delisting non-adult games that your master deemed they didn't like.
Yes, I'm sure the billionaire white male owner of the company who can close anyone's account really feels threatened.
Next tell me how brave Elon Musk is because he had to deal with someone telling him the Nazi's were actually the bad guys.
I'm so stoked for this game. Hope it comes out soon!
I still don't understand how Valve gets away w/ making a game out of a Blizzard game mod...will this end in blood?
anyone notice that the mini map looks just like the map from LoL?
It would be nice if someone would make a DoTa that doesn't look exactly like the original. Is there some written rule that all this style of game has to look exactly the same.
Eurgh. You know what... no. I don't give a crap how God damn dedicated the original fanbase was, I don't give a crap how cool Dota was in its time and I don't give a god damned fuck whether this game is even good or not because it's not half life 3.
That's it. I'm not doing this anymore. I know valve are brilliant and when they fart they fart pixie dust that lets you fly if you think happy thoughts... but that's it! I'm done indulging valve's obsession with hats and games that aren't half life. Portal 2 was cool but it only made me want god damned answers! I'm tired of games acting like it's perfectly okay to just stop three quarters of the way through a fucking narrative and leave the audience waiting quite literally decades for answers.
Is it me or are games the only form of media that does this? Example, gears of wars? When you think of the narrative arc stretching across the games it's not actually gears of war 1, gears of war 2 etc. It's gears of war episode 1, gears of war episode 2.
Nobody does annoying disjointed broken narratives quite like valve though. Wooo boy can they wind me up. God damned mother fucking g-man. I'm beginning to think there is no answer and it's all just deus machina.
