Tumble blew us away when it released on the PlayStation Network last year, providing a terrific three-dimensional puzzler that showed what the Move controller was really capable of. Developer of both Tumble and the fun party game Start the Party!, Supermassive Games are once again planning to develop exclusively for the PS3, according to a recent job listing.

The Outerhaven writes: A hands-on preview for Supermassive Games' latest horror adventure, Directive 8020. The preview left me feeling both excited to play more and apprehensive about its launch.
Really loved the preview, and enjoyed seeing what you had to say about it as well!
On another note, the article mentions posting the video once you are allowed to—were you given a different embargo date for it? We were simply told the article and video footage were restricted until 8:00 AM Central Time.

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Supermassive Games have released a demo for Little Nightmares III across all platforms, the companies announced.
The new PS5 firmware update lets your DualSense (and DualSense Edge) controller stay paired with up to four devices at once (PS5, PC, mobile, etc.), making it way easier to switch back and forth without re-pairing..

I am a bit disappointed of the Switch 2 port. They just use the Switch 1 asset, so even in 4k resolution, the image is blurry compared to the other versions. I hope they can still fix it till launch.

Supermassive Games: "The games industry remains a challenging and ever-evolving environment. As we adapt our team structure to better align with these changes, we've had to make the very difficult decision to begin a redundancy consultation process where we anticipate losing up to 36 of our colleagues.
This decision was not taken lightly, and we know this will be an incredibly difficult time for everyone. Our absolute priority will be to offer full support to all those affected.
We remain focused on our upcoming projects and have made the decision to move the launch of Directive 8020 to the first half of 2026. The response to the game so far has been fantastic, and this additional time will help us deliver the very best experience for our fans. We're deeply grateful for the patience and support of our community.
There is no impact on the development of Little Nightmares III."
Directive 8020 will most likely be a failure, they picked a very unlikable leading lady, there's still a lot of bad press about her role on the James Bond Movie, Hopefully it will not be the end of supermassive.
Sad to hear people will lose their jobs, but from a gameplay standpoint I do think more time with their game before release could be positive. In my experience, these games can be troublingly buggy at release and also prone to heavy price cuts very soon after launch making it feel worthy waiting only a few weeks to save a lot of money and getting a better product.
Assuming they were aiming for October hoping to pickup some Halloween buyers but it’s such a packed season for gaming, the trade off for releasing in spring / summer (like The Quarry did) does seem like it could be a winner in the long run.
Was a truly awesome game. Can't wait for what's next.
Seems like they're creating several downloadable titles for PSN.
Tumble was outstanding. I can't wait to see more from these guys and girls!
