Jesus Christ havn't they learned from trying to put Counter-Strike: Source on the original Xbox, it failed. Twitch shooters like this don't work with a controller.

Wonder if the ps3 version gets steam support and all like Portal 2.
And if thats the case then it better support M&K and/or Move, which would need to be brilliantly implemented.
Portal was a puzzle and co-op centered game this is a more of a competetive style game and thus the differences between the systems need to be smoothed out a bit.

I said day one when EA started squeezing Valve that Valve would respond and you are starting to get a glimpse of that now.

Valve has had it too good for too long, sitting around making games with last gen engines...that will all change now.

Competition is a great thing and what EA did, the injustice of it all, will really fuel Valve to drop bombs on EA...watch and see.

What they really needed to do was drop this on the same day as Battlefield 3 is launching. I'm sure they will have a fully feature game done very soon and you can bet, Valve will dump some serious money into upgrading their tool set.

Hal-life has been an ICONIC PC game for many years and you can see that games influence in every PC/console game made...it will be next and I expect it to blow everyone away in every way possible.

TF2 is a popular game...it will get a new make over with enough features to make you head spin. I also expect valve to go on a spending spree...EA has to pay for this outrage.

L4D, Portal and bunch of new ip's will begin to be leaked. The gloves are off and my bet is big boy Gabe to even lose some weight on this one...bring it. ;)

Valve did nothing wrong. Who would let scum like EA have access to their system, especially now that EA is a direct competitor...lol...Burn baby, BURN.

ps3 version and I will be so happy. Anyone remember counter strike in the old days where you would be nervous to go around the corners in office and the hostages and gun game and the custom maps oh my god the memories.

The thing that made CS as great as it was, and one of my top 5 games of all-time, were the headshots. Quite frankly, doing headshots with a controller isn't the same, so I'm not terribly excited about this title. However, I loved CS, so I'll still have to check this out.

Played it on PC and still love it, as long as they don't try to add perks and such i'll buy it.

Not saying that CS is a bad game just saying, IMO there is no sense of achievement in the game.
No unlocks, no levels, nothing like that.
You are playing to play and that is all.

I am really interesting in this game. Looking forward to more news.
