Borderlands was fun, both visually and gameplay-wise thus I’m listing the following features I want added/modified in the sequel. So here are 10 things which Borderlands 2 needs to have that the original didn’t.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I've a few things to say about this list:
1) No cell-shaded graphics? You'd be taking away one of Borderlands' most distinguishing features. Might I point out that even you reference "It’s main attraction being the [...] stylish Cel-shaded graphics", so why would Gearbox change them? Anyway, recently-revealed Borderlands 2 screenshots confirm the visual style will be maintained
2) Borderlands was supposed to be desolate and bare. The idea was to present a baron wasteland. Again, it's setting is what makes it stand out from every other FPS on the market. I think an aspect of that should be preserved, in part at least
3) Enemy variety was not as lacking as you imply. True, each enemy type followed the hard/harder/hardest motif, but there were many enemy types in the game - especially when you consider DLC too
4) IMO the classes were very varied in terms of each character's abilities. If you played as more than one character (which, by your own admission, you didn't) you'd know this
5) Likewise, skill trees were pretty deep, with different characters having individual skills to level up, which also made for a truly dynamic co-op experience
6) How you can say playing the game single-player was never fun is beyond me. Yes, it's more fun with friends, but by no means is it a less enjoyable affair playing alone (oh, and your opening line to paragraph two is "Borderlands was fun", by the way...)
Anyway, that's just my two pennies...
Wow this is the stupidest list ever.
The only thing I REALLY want Borderlands 2 to have is a minimap. Having to pause to find out where to go all the time was pretty irritating.
My list would be...
1.More Claptrap

I only really strongly disagree with the first one....that was one of the interesting things with Borderlands, its art style.
What they really need to fix though, are the ghost towns. The quests make it seem like the towns are actually populated with people and such (and really, Fallout had a more desolate/post-apocalyptic environment than Borderlands, but the towns were still realistically populated), but there were almost no people in sight besides the main NPC quest givers.
How about a story?
