MaxNintendo: "For many years Nintendo were considered to be the unquestionable king when it came to quality first-party developers, with games like Zelda and Metroid being unmatched by competing first-party games. However, over the last few years, Sony’s first-party team has improved and increased in terms of quality and in terms of the quantity of studios. Developers like Naughty Dog and the newly acquired Sucker Punch have managed to deliver unique and critically-acclaimed games arguably as good as anything Nintendo or Microsoft have managed to produce. However, Nintendo’s large heaps of money, obtained by the immense success of the Wii and DS, should be put to good use. Here are a list of 5 developers we think Nintendo should buy."

Level-5: "We will be streaming "LEVEL5 VISION 2026 Takumi" on YouTube starting at 21:00 on Friday, April 10, 2026.
At this event, we plan to reveal various latest information on Level-5 titles.

Anything from their golden age would be great. Apart from that Level 5 just doesn't hook me anymore.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.
I doubt Microsoft would let Rare go, but in all honesty, I think they would be better suited in Nintendo or Sony's first-party. Microsoft are killing them - they used to make shooters and platformers, now they make Kinect games.
Team Ninja would be a good start. The other M was a fantastic game, though it could have used some improvements, it was still cool!
Nintendo needs to purchase a Game Studios that can handle making FPS well.
Purchasing Platinum Games Studios would be a Good start.
pretty good list
Good list, but I would probably add Team Ninja and Platinum Games to that list.
