3D spotting, which was introduced in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, has always been a hot topic in the Battlefield community, and many Battlefield 3 Alpha players have voiced their disdain for including 3D spotting in Battlefield 3.

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign
Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

Whether it comes through remakes or a new game with a similar style, DICE should aim to revive the glory days of Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2.
hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D
You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.

This Battlefield 3 Reality Mod installation guide will show you step-by-step on how to install the new reality mod by Venice Unleashed.
I still have not made the 3D jump yet. Will wait on that.
Edit...should have googled this:
BC2 has 3d spotting. it is marker placed in the environment. It's like an objective marker, just on a person.
I have no problem with this. Just my teammates never bother to spot anyone.
I don't know why people have such a problem with this. I thought it was a great feature for people to use who don't have mics. It's actually more effective to just show where an enemy is rather than describe his location verbally. Also, the minimap is limited to a certain range. How would we spot snipers in the distance without 3D spotting?
It needs to go. As soon as you get spotted in BF3, everyone lights you up like a Christmas tree even if you're behind some immovable object.
It needs to be toned down or only available to squad leaders or something.
you get killed like that its your own fault! With BF3 having prone getting shot from anywhere so be alot harder and console gamers shouldn't worry.
24 players not enough to get caught. Guess the lower player count has its uses
