Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky... :)

I bought Brutal Legend used and it was pretty meh.

Im disappointed with Brutal Legend, bought it for $5 and i wouldn't pay a penny more for it.

I played 6 of those 10.......

just got n64oid for my phone, ill have to try some of these out. i remember wanting winback SO BADLY back in the day, but i guess it just kind of slipped from my mind entirely and i still have yet to play it.

Played Brutal Legends I love that game sure hope Sega will port Mad World over to PS3. And I never played Zone of the Enders 2 but I can enjoy it now on PS3 with the Hd remake of the game

I remember playing Jet Force Gemini and it was one of my favorite games as a kid for my n64.

Brutal Legend was very decent. It was certainly a different style to RTS and I loved how Double Fine tried an original approach; something most developers should try out.

Guess I should win something; I've played every game on that list, and beaten all but two.

Vexx should be on this list.

Played them all except Metroid and Turok 3.

I just replayed Hybrid Heaven a couple days ago. It's a great game. Lost my copy of Jet Force.. I wish they'd either remake it or make a new one.

Had them all minus Metal Warriors, really didn't like Hybrid Heaven though.

What was so "new" in Other M, aside from SenseMoveTM? Other than that, it was little more than a very average Metroidvania game, with a couple significant gameplay issues, and a nearly character-destroying story.

I liked Brutal Legend but had to punk out and change the difficulty on a frustrating RTS part I wasn't getting. Tim Schafer took my manhood.

Happy to say that I've played everything on this list...twice.

brutal legend got great reviews but after a month it dropped to $20

We need a sequel to that way more than any other Kojima game (seriously, I know MGS is awesome, but they have a game at least every year if you count portable entries).

Im surprised no-one mentioned NieR. That was an awesome game, much better than Final Fantasy XIII.

No one played uh? Really? You writes this junk? I play about half of the list. Never own them but I have played them.

If your a console owner i would suggest Metro 2033 and Two Worlds II.

Both of those games did very very well on the PC but consolers passed them up. Check'em out on the cheap if your looking for something to play before the Holiday onslaught!!

If your a PC owner get Cryostasis. The game is a solid FPS horror adventure game but it has hands down the best water physx ever in a game and as always I suggest The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series even though each game has done well.

Bionic Commando (2009)

Seriously no one played this game, and GRIN died because of it.

It wasn't such a bad game, best swinging mechanics of this generation. The gameplay was just hard to master so reviewers didn't like it. Subsequently it only "shipped" about 400,000 copies.

Played all games on the list except metroid other m, mech warriors, and brutal legend. All good games still worth checking out. N64 had so many great games that where overlooked.

who remembers mischief makers on the n64 man that game was loads of fun never saw a sequel ever...

Ah Brutal Legend....I had so much fun intill the RTS mode came. The person responsible for that part should be forced to eat the physical game.

erm... metal warriors wasn't revolutionary, it's a copy of front mission: gun hazard, that for me, is the best game on the snes...

of course, even being a clone, the game is very good...

Einhander and Omega Boost.......got to see to believe.

i love that winback was on that list that game was amazing. had some truely fun MP, great controlls and you descovered new moves as you played that game since they didn't really tell you how you could for instance roll away from cover depending on ur location at the cover point--ppl who played this game a lot will understan what i'm saying--anyway i got it used and never had a manual so i had to teach myself that game and it was intelligent but at the same time unforgivingly hard at moments especially with all teh lazer tripwires lol. that games only second to perfect dark on the n64 in my mind. funny how Hybrid Heaven made that list i loved that game and i've never enjoyed rpg elements before i played that game. story was surprisingly good but i don't know anyoene else that enjoyed that game. i always wanted to play eternal darkness...didn't they make a reboot of that game orjust a hd sequel--but lets face it, who actually owns a nintendo system since 64. nintendo can't compete with todays market and hasn't been able to for years. mad max looked promising too but again nintendo, sigh. anyway never played teh zone of teh enders games but really it was better than ANY mgs game on the ps2? i think snake eater is extremely difficult to beat in any ps2 category and was the only reason i ever owned a ps2 which i sold shortly after beating that game. i'm amazed you didn't put any pc games on that list btw.

You know i remember a Sega Genesis (i think) Mech game where you can rip off the parts of enemy Mechs and put them on yours.

Also, you can put pretty much any Tim Schafer game on there... especially Psychonauts.

With the exception of Metal Warrior I've played and enjoyed the games on that list. Winback especially brings back some good memories. Also, if I remember correctly Kill Switch was another similar game I really enjoyed.

More recently Venetica is an awesome game I'm sure most have not played.

I would be adding the Yakuza series here espically Yakuza 2, well in the West anyway (40k isn't a lot of people that's what it sold in the US)

I enjoyed Brutal Legend until the RTS elements took over in the major battles. If it had been all 3rd person without those elements I would have purchased it but instead it was a rental and I didnt even beat it.

Z.O.E 2 is awesome! a gem of a game, If you haven't played it yet you should =)though its hard to come by.

Just remembered Front mission 3! not sure that was very popular in the west either. But it was amazing! Probably the best Mech tactical RPG I ever played.

I played over half of those games, and they were all good. Especially eternal darkness, I still have that game sitting on my shelf.

If you like JRPG's 'Resonance of Fate' is a wonderful hidden jem. :)

This is a good list. I'm so glad that Eternal Darkness is on there, as I hardly can have conversations with people about this game because I can't find anyone that's played it!

I would maybe have Killer 7 and The Mark Of Kri in there as well. Although Other M and MadWorld were both good and Underplayed, there was a lot of hype and marketing around them. The other games are relatively unknown, but hidden master pieces in gaming.

Would of liked to see both Enslaved and Beyond Good and Evil..
