Misleading, these aren't developed or published by Square or Enix, just owned after SE acquired Crystal Dynamic/Eidos/Etc

Chrono5400d ago

Square Enix is now responsible for publishing them digitally.

MaxXAttaxX5400d ago

True. They're not exactly Square games.

So anyways, is this just for Europe?

Minimox165400d ago

good question, it's only for Europe or all regions?

limewax5400d ago

I don't know entirely, but in UK the discount is active. If it isn't in US by tomorrow then its likely UK only

eddvdm5400d ago

was this acquisition recent? Because if it wasn't just shows how EA-like Sq/Enix can be, lowering prices only when a game is selling 1 per month (after $hutting down its $erver$) =/

in the beginning of the article;

"Square Enix Ltd. has announced an official and permanent price-cut for a number of Eidos titles on PlayStation Network."

there!

Troll-without-Bridge5400d ago

Square is the one who decides upon these titles now. Pricing in this case.

about bloody time, 8 quid for a single disc ps1 game was ridiculous.
let's see if they price new single disc games at the lower price or if they'll go back to 8 quid.

and now scee have given them a way to publish ps1 games that were never available in europe on the eu store they better get parasite eve out here pretty damn sharpish.
