Isn't the Kinect calibrated so it needs to be on top of your TV? Does this allow you to get closer or something?
kinect can be above or below, but like they said its better to go above because you get the extra two foot distance so you can be a bit farther back, same goes with the ps eye and wii sensor bar.....and its really basic camera knowledge

Following the success of the Eagle-Eye Converter for Sony PS3, Penguin United will soon launch the Eagle-Eye Version 2.0 for Xbox 360. The Eagle-Eye converts any standard USB HID keyboard and mouse into a turbo charged video game controller, the preferred method for fans of first-person shooters (The Eagle-Eye is compatible with most USB, however it does not always work with non-HID USB).
I wonder if these have notches for 3DS games as well. Since they don't say 3DS on them anywhere, though, I'm guessing not.
