The Nintendo 3DS debuted costing almost as much as a smartphone, with polarizing 3D and an incredibly weak launch lineup of short, high-priced games the only things justifying that price tag. Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised, then, that the handheld ended up with poor sales numbers. Super Monkey Ball was a terrible game anyway, so a bad example. The million+ sales of Zelda show people are willing to pay for quality content.

I hate to say it, but the Hardcore are the elite minority at the moment. Look at the worldwide top 10 on VGCHARTZ. Hardly a hardcore game on there and 7 of the titles on it are Nintendo games.

Nintendo Faces Fresh Labor Complaints Three Years After Union-Busting Settlement

Nintendo of America is once again facing labor complaints from one or more of its workers. Game File reports that new charges accuse the Switch 2 manufacturer of violating sections of the National Labor Relations Act dealing with worker organizing and related union activities. These come just a few years after the company settled a previous labor charge with a former tester for $26,000.
