I'm waiting for an epic Pokemon MMORPG where you can design your own character and travel throughout the world, collecting Pokemon and competing with other gamers to become the best Pokemon trainer in each area.

make a MMORPG!!! same rules as pokemon.. you start with one.. and you go an adventure.. etc.

I agree with 3, 6 and 7.

However, I think the game should be totally different.

Imagine it in a 3D world and running around and everything is to scale and the camera is from an over the shoulder perspective.

Make the battles have nice 3D animations in real space. ie. not little circles at the pokemons feet.

I realise that if they did make these changes the game would take about 3 years to make, but it'd be awesome.

Without going too far, I think it would be cool if, after beating the game, the profile could be saved and sent online, then design our own badge, and put a place where everyone could go, see other's pokemon and badges as gym leaders, then challenge that "gym" of that trainer and win that medal.

Useless maybe, but hey, everyone could have an online gym, have a register of win/lose, and make the gym better and better. Send revenges invitations and stuff. The street pass of the 3ds is perfect for this.

If they do make a MMO i hope its free >_>..

Good read, I can definitely see where she's coming from but honestly, I kinda like the 8-gym formula...or maybe I'm just worried that if they try something new they'll screw it up.

I mean, after playing black and white you can pretty much count on your past experience on how to progress. Much like how they're running out of ideas on new pokemon, I can't imagine they can keep coming up with new ideas for new games as in the theme of the game such as Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, etc etc. What's next, Past/Future?

Still, HMs have got to go. Not sure how they've made it this far, I can't imagine anyone who likes this mechanic.

Good read. After reading this article, I really want there to be a Pokemon Yellow remake.

The article forgot one thing. The story NEEDS to change! I feel like I have been playing the same pokemon game story for ages with just different Evil Team organisations I am up against.

They should also stop making new pokemon now. I know most kids dont even know all of the names of the pokemon unlike when pokemon first came out. There are so much pokemon that if they did a song like the first pokemon tv show it would go on for a much longer time. The names of the english pokemon names have also gone downhill. They are soo cheesy that any kid could think up.

Just for a example. This new electric eel pokemon in english is named...Eelektrik! When pokemon first came out we had names much better like rapidash, charmeleon, pikachu, etc...

These suggestions are sorta dumb, but yes Pokemon definitely needs some updating.
