Spider-man, CoD, and Wii ports. That's all they do.

Makes sense, considering Black Ops sold so much. Although I do agree that a stand alone CoD zombie game would make sens at some point. and, @Laypoof, you can't blame Activision for milking it, they're in the business to make money, like any other publisher by the way, and like you said, people still buy it every year, so they've got no reason not to milk it while it lasts.

Call of Duty is the franchise every publisher dreams of, it's a somewhat low-cost to develop (since they can still re-use the CoD4 assets for newer games) game with incredibly high revenues, every single year, and despite the fact that there's little change between each games, they manage to outsell the previous year's game.

EA can trash talk CoD all it wants, truth is, they wished they had CoD, as they would do the exact same thing with it (just like what they're doing with the sports franchises).

And, to make it even more profitable, CoD is probably the biggest DLC seller on the PSN and on XLive, at 15$ a pop no less.

so I guess it makes sense to cash in with a simple copy and paste so everything will feel, look and play the SAME then slap in a random story, scripted explosions, add a gun or 2 and change the multi-player to suit the noobs.

So we have MW3 this year. Black Ops 2? Next year and I'm assuming that sledgehammer is still working on their action adventure COD which is rumored to come out next year as well. Soon were gnna have Call of Duty come out every 6 months. Then 3 and then....a new Cod every week..no i'm just kidding. MW3 looks good to me, but i'm staying away from Black Ops. Can't stand the weapons in that game.

Of course they are. This will be announced six months after Modern Warfare 3. And like the games before it will be riddled with online problems, have a medicore campaign, no innvovation, no dedicated servers, poor story, unbalanced, better on one console, and still sell 20 million plus.

Makes sense doesn't it?
