I still have CV on my DC but RE 4 is the only RE game that Ive never played. 20 dosesnt seem very bad for a HD version of RE4, especially since Ive never played it. Ill probably get that one sometime.

frelyler5407d ago

I say definitely buy it. The game play, story and atmosphere have yet to be matched this gen. Not to mention it's a 20 hr game with a game plus mechanic. The game is so good you will want to play it again.

You know, it really depends on what you're looking for in a game. As a huge fan of fast paced games with lots of mobility RE4 just wasn't for me. I played all the way through to the end, but it just didn't grab me.

If you like more methodically paced horror games with heavy atmosphere and lots of zombie spaniard killing, then RE4 is perfect for you.

DevilishSix5407d ago

releasing RE4 the same day Gears 3 comes out seems like a poor decision on Capcoms part, thats assuming it was their choice.

Brownghost5407d ago

I'd rather pay $30 for both and It better have more than 12 achievements

NukaCola5407d ago

They are updates to full titles. They will have a Platinum/1000gs

DigitalRaptor5407d ago (Edited 5407d ago )

The fact that they're only getting 12 achievements/13 trophies really sucks!

Awesome game though!

Brownghost5407d ago

Yes but there should be achievements for bearing this guy or discovering this and also getting this many kills with this weapon

NicSage5407d ago

I am only picking up RE4 if it has Move support.

firemassacre5407d ago

that would be sick if r4 had move support

TrevorPhillips5407d ago

RE4 will most likely to support PS Move.

banditscout5407d ago

That's a steep price tag for those games. I saw a used PS2 copy of RE4 at gamestop for $8 (?) the other day... I mean...I know it's HD and all... $20 a pop, Capcom?!?!? C'mon.

wtf, good thing I already played and finished the game when it came out

walken799d ago

Once again hurting the people who purchase and support the game. Meanwhile pirates get the best version. Pathetic.

PRIMORDUS99d ago

There is already someone or a group called voices38, that has been cracking Denuvo games lately. Not the newest games, but getting there.

PRIMORDUS99d ago

I wonder if the pirated copies run better like this one titled here: "Resident Evil 4: Remake - Gold Edition (No Denuvo) (v1.5.0.0 + All DLCs + Bonus Content + MULTi14) (From 50 GB)"

Furesis99d ago

i don't think so? as far as i know even pirated version have denuvo or whatever runing in the background, they just trick it to say that yes this is a legit copy or just skip that process, but im not 100% sure. regardless this is an endless battle where legit consumer "suffer" sometimes. it's not that big of a deal MOST of the times and i understand publishers not wanting people to get access to their games for FREE so, i cant blame them honestly. i do find it odd that they wouldn't just remove DRM completely considering most people already played it? not like they are getting more sales anymore, just lower the price remove DRM but i guess thats why they still have it because they dont want to lower the price. oh well

A perfectly acceptable excuse to pirate the game.

Why would you accept to pay for the game in order for it to install software you don’t want with the intention to make your playing experience worse. Paying for that would be the very definition of stupid.

I’m not against DRM but if it negatively effects a product you’re paying for. Then it’s on them not you.

You know I would have liked this if it was added on for free. A nice substitute for Assignment Ada.
