They will release more Halo 3 trailers or pics in the near future. They said it would take months before they tease us again with a trailer.

truly hate. All of the fans really ruined halo for me. I have nothing against the actual game though. Its all the overhyper fans, all the overhypen press that both me. This game just screams Overrated in my hears!

Before anyone bashes me of another sony fanboy, let me tell them that i'm a proud 360 owner, and owns a copy of halo(not halo2, wasn't as good IMO)

i own a 360 and i owned halo 1 not 2, and i completely agree with you. halo 2 was rediculously overrated with some punk kids that never played video games before startin to talk sheet like they knew somethin because they only played halo 2 never heard of cs or ac or ff7, i mean at least where i live, and it pissed me off like no other... still does. Halo 2 was flawed. it was not 10/10 like the OXM said, but I enjoyed it, because it had thought put into it. I just don't know how they messed up the formula. Rule no.1 of any industry, never fu*k with a winning formula. Halo 1 was good because it was dark, dramatic, had atwo big unexpected parts, the graphics were mind blowing, and the level designs made it feel like real environments, with total diversity. Quite simply attention to detail.

Halo 2 was confined, level designs were only elaborated Halo 1 designs, Combat was annoying. (Cover, fire, Cover, fire) and the dual weilding made each individual weapon feel like a toy. Graphics were good, but ruined because the Xbox had reached its limit, and the rendering pissed me off.

Multiplayer was everything I hoped, but made trivial by the previously mentioned dual wielding issue, the one kill weapons, and more importantly the screaming american kids.

The 360 can potentially fix all those problems, all Bungie need to do is unf*ck the formula.

This isn't even really a "new piece of art" as people are reading it. What the newspost misses is that this piece if art is actually a product that's going to be available on the Bungie online store (basically a high-res poster). So this isn't about the game at all.

So this shouldn't even be a news story at all.

On another note, it's an old bit but I'll say it again- if Halo 2 sucks so bad, how come it's never left (to my knowledge) the #1 spot on Xbox Live in its entire existance? Even now, it's still #1.

Just commenting on halo 2 being confined I agree Halo 3 should be more open I was reading some of the creators of the games comments and they said its much more open and it has that ledgendary feel of Halo 1

I stil play Halo 2 but on my Xbox 360 in HD. It looks alot clearer. As for what you have said. I want Halo 3 to be a better game than Halo 1 and Halo 2. I want it to feel familer to Halo 1 and Halo 2 but i also want it to be a new game, not just Halo 2 or Halo 1 with better graphics. I would not spend £40 on Halo 3 if it was the same as the last 2 games.

Have to agree with Lance Leon Lionheart when he said Halo was overhyped. i didnt have an Xbox so I bought it for the PC and man was I disappointed. I thought the campaign totally sucked. Compared to Far Cry or Doom3 it was very mediocre, linear and at times very very boring. Have to hand it to them on the multiplayer though. They nailed that and I still go online with it every now and again.

Halos dead

Just like the first one being remade, using UE5💩 MS with all their money couldn't get ID Tech 8 and modify it to work with the Halo remakes? 😑 If they did I'm 100% sure it would run as good as Doom The Dark Ages. I can see the performance issues already. As DF Alex puts it "stutter struggle".

I just hope they're good. Halo CE remake looks very good, so this could be good for Halo.

Of course, let's go with the Nintendo way.

Considering Halo 3 never got the remaster treatment, I strongly support this endeavor. Let's give Reach the remake treatment at some point, too.

Not for me personally, I enjoyed the Master Chief Collection, but not enough to invest in the remakes, the MCC still feels relatively new to me.

A lot of people asking for Multiplayer, just go by an Xbox, hell, almost any Xbox, or get a 1/2 decent PC, then if you really wanted to play Halo, you can play all of them.

MS multiplatform situation has really show that people talk so much smack it's not even funny, people go on how exclusives sell consoles, but I see it's only to a small degree, people usually go with where there friends are or the hype surrounding something (Nintendo is the exception). A lot of PS fans bought Forza, GoW:Remake: Sea OF Thieves, and PS Fans bought Grounded, in fact these MS games were dominating Sony sales charts...so if exclusive sells systems, why didn't Sony fans buy an Xbox to play these one time exclusives, that they clearly wanted to play?
