Everyone loves zombies. Programmers and game designers, in particular, must love zombies. Instead of coming up with difficult enemy AI, they can just swarm the users with a horde of zombies. That’s not to say there are some specialty zombies, but in general, it’s easier to flood the player with a bunch of senseless characters instead of creating advanced enemy AI.

"Boxhead plays like your typical twin stick shooter with a few differences. The major change is you can’t actually shoot in any direction you aren’t facing. Yes, this means it’s not a twin stick shooter, even though it seems to try to be one."
