Legendary Pictures presented their panel for their planned game-to-film adaptation Mass Effect at Friday's San Diego Comic-Con with screenwriter Mark Protosevicthane the game creator Casey Hudson there to talk up the highly anticipated movie.

Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."
I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed
Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.
So the TV show will take place after the OG trilogy. I wonder which ending they’ll use?
Should’ve just posted a picture of an Elcor saying “regretfully, we have nothing to share.”

The Sonic Racing game is going to SDCC with a fun activation.
It’s exciting to see Sonic Racing Crossworlds getting showcased at SDCC. Bringing together different Sonic universes in a racing format could be a great way to celebrate the franchise's legacy. Looking forward to seeing more gameplay footage.

SAG-AFTRA has announced a panel for San Diego Comic-Con that focuses on the voice talents behind key games.
The source material for a Mass Effect movie is rock solid. But besides a big budget that will do the universe justice it needs a top quality script which is not a dumbed down video game movie, but written intelligently and maturely. As long as Legendary Pictures don't get any silly ideas and make Shepard and co a family of treasure hunters, this has the potential to be great!
