RipTen: It’s about damn time. When Goldeneye was announced for the Wii, the gaming world let out a collective, “Oh… ok” and rightly so. Who the hell plays multiplayer shooters on the friggin’ Wii?

Considering Goldeneye worked pretty well with the Wii remote. I hope the devs have some sense and add some Move support, for the PS3 version.

Maybe now we will get a proper remake. But im worried they are just going to port from the wii and that would be a mess.

No, they used a completely diff engine plus will have extra missions and muliplayer modes.

Plus you can use voice chat and don't have to worry about friend codes. xD

As long as it plays better do you care THAT much? Did you expect either to be Killzone or Gears lookswise on the respective consoles? Bloodstone was a boring game with the, IIRC, COD engine and made by Bizarre who're used to, and had just made another, racing game(s) when they got the Bond poisoned chalice from Acti-this Goldeneye is an entirely different beast and we were never told to expect amazing looks but WERE told to expect even slicker gaming than the Wii version and if they manage that with both pad and Move then it'll be a good game to play as the Wii one was already a fun shooter but let down a little by lack of accuracy and a few hiccups.

If the MP had had more support and better modes(more, really) on the Wii I'd have hung around more myself as I felt it had potential there but even on the Wii it wasn't a looker so I just wasn't expecting the PS360 version to be mindblowing but do think it could be great fun if they don't price themselves out of an extremely difficult, and different and crowded market on the HD twins. There could well be a lot to be had from the MP, imho, and the new modes for SP and added missions might be a blast too as they DID try a few things with this game-just looks were never high up on their list I reckon.

I just think, at full price, it will struggle to make an impact.

No, but I expected it to look better than a year old multiplatform game.

i played this game and i really don't see what the big deal is its not even a remake of the original heck it barely has little to do with the original besides key story moments

its an alright game but besides having the goldeneye name that's about it

Yeah no Pierce=Fail remake. I look at videos of the game and it looks like another COD game to me. I dont think activision knows the meaning of the word remake.

Nintendo owned rights to the name. Thats why microsoft couldnt release the original on live. Im prtty surprised it coming to ps3 and 360 at all.

nintendo and microsoft STILL own the rights to THE ORIGINAL goldeneye and any remake of THE ORIGINAL

since this actually is so different from the original it was able to be made

I just wished they used the orignal goldeneye bond. not daniel craig.

also please dont over do this game activision. so i cant reconsise my best loved 007 game ever on the n64.

keep the music exact to the orignal too. GOD DAM I LOVE GOLDENEYE.

i really love it if they could put in the old cheat system like n64 by unlocking paintball mode big head mode by completing certan challanges this made the game way cooler by wanting to replay it beat the time.

(EDIT) JUST SEEN THE VIDEO. jaw on table i recall everything they showed. sweet oh im gonna watch my boxset of bond

LOL at the people bitching about the graphics, I'm glad the remake/re imagining is coming to ps3/360 at all! So many hours I've spent back in the 90's playing the original goldeneye on my N64 with some friends (EVERY FREAKING BODY always ran for the golden gun, or the RCP90!), gonna pick this up day one if I can.

if nostalgia is the main or one of the main reasons you would pick this game up then don't because you will be very disappointed if that's the case

this game is VERY and i mean VERY different from the original goldeneye

get this game with no thought of the original is what im saying

That's the same, horizontal fps, without ANY challenge for modern fps gamers (I hope), with a old story AND an old LEVEL DESIGN.

Cut that crap off, start a new game project, for Industry's Sake!

BTW, it will be fantastic like the first one. And I hate it because of this!

daniel craig was not in goldeneye? why put him in now. i have boycott the movies since they gave bronson the ass and now won't buy this game because you fucked it up by swapping out the characters. daniel craig is not bond... more like a bond vilian. hey a boycott is a boycott, whats a guy to do?

Craig's portrayal of Bond is different. I'm not the biggest fan of him, but I certainly don't mind that he's stepped in to fill those shoes.

Whether or not GoldenEye Reloaded is good, I think I'm going to fork over money for it.

So stupid to release this game in the busy Fall season - Activision should remember it's MW3, BF3, Resistance 3, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Halo Remake, Skyrim, Batman AC, Lost Guardian, etc season already!!!!

If it released today with Move controls I'd consider buying it, as there's not a lot out right now. As it stands, there's no way I'm going to see GoldenEye on the shelf among all the AAA games and choose proven Wii mediocrity over all that AAA greatness.
