Can we have monster hunter now?

That sucks.

The fans have only themselves to blame. By now everyone should be painfully aware of Capcom's practices. If you don't want to get ripped off, then wait for the inevitable "Super, Ultimate, Gold Edition" releases.

I guarantee you that if enough people stopped buying the first releases Capcom would get the message. Money speaks louder than forum posts.

For me the old Capcom has died and been reincarnated under the name of Platinum Games.

Way to hyperbole the thing , some are upset some are actually happy .

Just go over fighting forums , or even place like neogaf to notice that people are expecting the game eagerly and more busy discussing the new moves , characters and changes than the routine of "capcom is milking" .

Yes they are milking , and people either get over t or stop supporting them . There are hardly any other choices . Besides quite honestly , the unhappy folks would be whatever happens .

3 possible scenarios :

- new game (UMVC3 then) = rage
- DLCs = rage from the same people
- nothing = rage , oddly from the same people , because they didnt release DLCs .

It was already to late , from the moment mvc3 got release , to satisfy some disgruntled folks . Might as well just move on , toward the new game or away from it

I'm glad i dont really mess with capcom

This is what happens when companies put profit as #1 priority. I don't want to support them for this but I like some of their games. They make me wanna buy their games used.

People need to speak with their wallets. Tired of getting ripped off? Then stop LETTING them rip you off. Capcom has had a habit of doing this for more than 2 decades. Look how many versions of Street Fighter 2 you have.

I bought SF4 and Resident evil 5 thinking they may have stopped their milking ways. Obviously I was wrong since RE5 Gold edition and SSF4 came out. But needless to say, I haven't bought ssf4 or RE5 gold and I don't intend to. And THIS is why I didn't buy Marvel vs Capcom 3.

When enough people stop feeding their gaming fix and say "enough is enough" THEN they'll stop milking. But I don't blame them for milking people. If people are so eagerly wanting to BE liked, I'd take advantage too.

My problem is not the fact that Capcom is making UMvC3, you can choose not to buy that game, it's the fact that they are going to completely stop support for the first game only 8 months after release. That's just bad business. This isn't 1994 where if you wanted to make fixes, you had to release a new arcade cabinet. The internet and title updates are there for that exact reason.

They promised us DLC characters. We got 2 of them that were disc unlocks.

They promised us support for their online. We get no net code fixes so the ranked matches are still broken, and if you want a spectator mode(something that was in HD Remix back in 2008) You will have to buy a new game.

I'm sorry, but Capcom just lost a fan. I can't afford to buy games that fixes their mistakes.

No Onimusha, no dino crisis, no Viewtiful Joe but they will give you 3 different versions of the same game instead. They died this gen

Fans are annoyed with MvC3 because they're butthurt regardless of what you give them.

You give them $60 (or more) worth of new content for $40 on a disc and they complain. What they want is the characters just as DLC. That's right, they want 12 characters only as DLC which would at least be $5 each so they can complain about DLC milking instead.

I don't see what people are so mad about. You knew damn well there would be a complete edition after SSF4 and the announcement of a re-release for Dead Rising 2.

I understand why people are upset, but it's Capcom we are talking about here. They gave done this all before. We basically knew there would be a "super" MVC3 edition somewhere down the road.

Capcom have done this all form the beginning. Look at all the editions of Street Fighter and Mega Man over the years and other Capcom games over the years. Capcom have always been the kings of milking, it has just become more obvious and easy form them these years with DLC and so on. And they wouldn't be doing it if it didn't make them more money, so we gamers have only ourselves to blame...

No one asked. It makes perfect sense. I'm just glad I don't care about fighters. Saves me money lol. Tho ill be honest capcoms other games are awesome (cept maybe LP2) I am looking forward to Asuras Wrath and Dragons Dogma for sure.
