and it kinda looks like ass TBH

Well it's an engine from a small studio. You can't expect it to be as impressive as CryEngine 3 or Dunia Engine.

Still, with higher res textures and a better TOD it could look comparable to them ;)

add anti-aliasing and a new foliage system to that.

I don't really see the point in developing an engine that is less capable that what is already widely available really, unless of coarse you are trying to create something specific and specialised like a large scale RTS engine or something that isn't already readily available.

Especially when there are engines like Unity that are available for free and hugely capable engines that are easy and cheaply available like Unreal SDK or Source SDK. It just seems like a waste of time to create a generic engine especially for a small studio.

nah for an unfinished game it kinda looks good!

the environments looks damn good, but the gun model looks pretty mediocre.

i think the engine is pretty good the environment looks realistic but needs more work on the grass and textures.. the gun that looks fake .

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing69d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit69d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing69d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9269d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
