It would appear that brothers Dustyboozer and Dirty_Christ have created a HD texture pack for Minecraft using real photographs from around Switzerland. As Dustyboozer explains it: “This is an HD texture pack created from pictures taken by my brother and i while exploring Switzerland, then painted over slightly to reduce the cheesy over realistic look.”

This is very true, my nephews grew up on these two games and whenever I introduce them a AAA game whether old or new, it's like seeing an alien try to make sense of it and then quickly lose interest in it.

Gaming trends are so weird to me now. Like, I’m old school and games were consumed essentially how movies were. You play through a title and look forward to the sequel or other things that came out. Now, that is so not the norm.

i would just like to add a little note here:
this is about 50% complete but is constantly updated. also, when finished it will function with a customizer allowing users to pick and choose between alternate textures with ease.
