I played it a little years ago. It was fun but I had children after I started playing and gave it up so my wife wouldn’t hate me. I got to 50 and then hung it up
Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha

Theres absolutely NO contest, GW2 will obliterate EVERY MMO out there. Maybe not in numbers (though there will be MILLIONS of players), but with sheer innovation, support and a billion other awesome reason. After playing the original for 6 years I have the upmost respect for ANET.
They should-a just made a KOTOR III instead of SWTOR.

Everyone keeps saying every MMO that is new will be the next WoW killer. I don't play WoW anymore but there has not been an MMO yet that I've seen / played that is as good. I will probably get this game to see how it goes. The videos do look great.
Sorry but what a pointless article, it's all down to opinion and it doesn't help in TORs favor that GW2 is F2P.
both look to be solid mmo's and great experiences, this is why I will be getting both, I'll only be getting both because I wont need to pay monthly for GW2 though, if I did, personally I would only get TOR.
GW2 does look better gameplay wise and graphic wise than SWTOR.
But fact is i'll be getting both. and why not? GW2 is free to play so its not extra monthly fee. Lets enjoy both ultimately only when i play both will i know which is best for me. Or if i'd have to return to WoW yet again.
