If there’s one thing people can agree on when it comes to Final Fantasy XIV it’s that the game is a graphical achievement. But high end graphics seems to be a double edge sword for the game’s developers.
Today, Square Enix revealed several details of "Evercold", the next expansion coming for its popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.
Interesting. I will try the base game free trial when it comes out. I heard you can try the it as long as you want with Lvl 70 cap.

Square Enix has announced a new crossover with the Evangelion will be coming to Final Fantasy XIV in the form of a new Alliance Raid.
I hope they have Dragoon armor.
.
Hmm well I do wonder with new armor there should be new things to slay? Especially when you get into high end quests So overall I guess that could be a part of it? So they would have to model it for each race which could take two months lets say. Then the monsters themselves could be a month or two (depending on how many and which ones to slay for which pieces). Testing it out could be just a few weeks to maybe a few months? I have about five ish months but I guess the things I listed about could very well vary.
Depends entirely on how the engine is built to handle models and animation. If they designed it with cloth in mind (as most MMOs will do if they're smart) then they can use a "one model fits all approach" as they should have hanging, stretching and fitting dynamics in place at an engine level. (And I know large ears and things can cause issues but most devs ignore that as I know well from playing a Blood Elf in WoW whose ears almost always poke out of invisible holes in any given helmet)
If they didn't? Oh boy....................oohhhhh h boy.
