Even their own flavoured games don't provide any satisfaction. Except Demon Souls maybe.

How is NT not at fault for being inexperienced and having to deal with a huge franchise? If they felt they didn't have the experience to deal with a franchise such as this(which they don't), why except?

As far as them listening to fans, sure that'll happen. Them blaming fans for everything and telling them they don't know what a good character is fills my heart with hope. Finally a good action game, but a bad DMC game defeats the whole purpose. Why should any DMC fan be happy about a bad DMC game that would have been better if the devs hadn't decided to bastardize a franchise and slap a known title on it?

true a slap to the face but NT has said that the dante we see in the beginning changes throught the story, if this an origin story and not a reboot. I look forward to the game to see if NT can do what capcom has forgotten and maybe listen to the fans better then capcom has, though i doubt it i can still look forward to it. Plus who knows like i said earlier it could be a very good game overall even if its not to DMC standards. (but hey DMC4 wasn't even close to DMC3)

That's a ridiculous presumption. An open minded person is open to new ideas, open to considering opposing points of view when rendering an opinion. An open minded person doesn't have to understand or agree with contrary opinion, but simply must be able to consider the validity and value of all ideas and arguments when rendering an opinion.

Let me ask you this. Are you open minded enough, by your definition, to understand and accept the hatred of minorities and all things non-WASP, by the KKK?

Lastly, I don't see anything in Tron's post that belittled opposing views. He may be doing a little chest thumping with 'If more people were like this', but nowhere did he insult others.

I'm not quite sure if the story done by SE themselves, but i can gave you two points why it sucks:

1. Evolved lacks memorable characters. Dylan Ramsey and his co are to "dry" as a person.

If you play Front Mission 3 (you can buy it on PSN US/Jpn) and Front Mission 4 (PS2), you will meet a lot of interesting characters (with great dialogue) besides the main characters.

2. Evolved story are too short and not deep.

Front Mission always had deep story with complex political twist. It also provides two viewpoint between the two sides (for example: OCU wars against USN. The people from both sides will tell how they feel about this war, and sometimes you must choose what side you will stand).

And yes, i think Front Mission 5 is the best Front Mission cause it cover all Front Mission timeline (minus Evolved cause it's a reboot) and explained the conclusion. Also, the gameplay (TRPG like FF Tactics) are very addictive with a lot of customization (Evolved lacks this too) for the Wanzer (mecha like Gundam / Patlabor).

If you had PS2 that can play pirates game, i suggest you donwload FM 5 with fans translate in it ^^
