Should the splinter cell franchise remain Xbox and PC exclusive is the question asked. Are PS3 gamers no longer interested in the series?
CVG- "Word on the street is that Microsoft has been showing developers its next-generation hardware, and according to multiple sources close to the project the new Xbox console is codenamed Durango.
However, like Sony, Microsoft is still saying it won't be showing off its next home console at E3 next week. So what does it have in store for us? The obvious guesses are a little more Halo 4, perhaps some more Forza and a smidgen of Gears of War. For the less obvious guesses you'll have to watch our E3 prediction videos below."
Regardless of what we see; I'm pumped about Monday's press conference. I fly in tomorrow.
I'm surprised they would publish this report AFTER the Judgment leak, which they clearly had no inkling of, despite making very confident predictions.
Just makes then look a bit silly.
well ubisoft is gona be at microsofts so i think that splinter cell might be there

According to a number of sources, a new Splinter Cell will be unveiled at E3 2012, with a release date of around January 2013.
I'll be skipping Blacklist since read the article and it states it will play like Conviction
I must be the only one who didn't hate Conviction. It wasn't as good as the first 3 games, but it was leaps and bounds ahead of Double Agent.
I wish they would bring back the 2v2 spies vs. mercs MP mode. I have no clue why they stopped.
I thought a few months ago that the game was going to be more like the originals. I could have sworn they interviewed the head person and they confirmed that? But if it is a sequel like this site claims then what a letdown.
I'll try to find a link to the video, but I swear that's what I remember hearing.

Splinter Cell 6 will be revealed by Ubisoft at E3 2012 with a planned launch in January next year, according to XGZ .
UbiSoft will be on MS stage. So probably Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed III or Rainbow Six with exclusive DLC of full exclusives.
Despite the declining sales on the PS3 compared to Xbox as indicated, I think the soon to be released HD remix of the old games might rekindle interest from PS3 gamers.
The more people buy the game the better chance of improvement. I think the series could stagnate if it's just single platform. However, Xbox gamers need as many exclusives as they can get.
they should keep it exclusive to the pc\360.ever since the first game came out on the ps2 sales and interest has steadily decline from ps owners.
I just want it to be hard core again.
I played Splinter Cell games in PC and they were great, but I feel after Chaos Theory the series went in a wrong direction and I have lost my interest in it. Maybe one day I'll give it another chance...
I just never had that much interest in the series to begin with... and I first played it on XBox... I was actually more interested when they went the "24" route in, say, Double Agent, but by that point the games just weren't very good.
