"The Wii U has the potential to shake up the industry again with an all new way to play on a home console. But while many sit around wondering about what the new controller can achieve and how their favorite Nintendo franchises will look in HD, it's easy to overlook some of the issues the system may present. Potential problems like system specs and online functions have already been discussed at length by many, including us. But what about some of the smaller issues. Let's take a look at some issues that are unlikely to be a huge factor when purchasing, but may cause a bit frustration to those who pick up the Wii U."

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
"Super Smash Bros. Will Never Be the Same"
Damn never thought about that point. I loved using the gamecube controller.
Wouldn't you think Nintendo would bring out a normal controler for next gen (an official gamecube styled controler for next gem)...just for the people who don't want to use that controler all the time. It's not like it would be that hard to do....it's like there setting themselfs up to fail even more.
If the price is high parents wont buy it for their kids.
Nintendo will probably make a gamecube controller that can be used for the WiiU
I dont have any problems with things on this list
except my gamecube controller :/ one of the best controllers of all time i got like 9 of them.
and i really dont see any problems with lack of a harddrive o.o
pop in a sd/usb and boom just as good and a cheaper alternative + the abilities to make backups and transfers.
harddrives seem to only cause problems and unless its a ssd its old tech.
Its a bizarre little console with the strangest feature being the controller. Many people will be like me that they will have to try it before buying. Cant wait to try out this little bugger.
this is all speculation not actual facts tho,i don't have any kids so there no issue there for me and i have rechargable batteries for all my wiimotes loss of the game cube controller dosen't really shock me but i wonder if they will still keep those classic controller pro's around, anyway im going to wait for actual word from nintendo any thing outher then that is all speculation comeing out of peoples rear end.
