CVG: Six years after committing a complex series of global assassinations - and offing a church full of mourners at his own funeral - Agent 47 is back.
With slicker stealth and far more agile, brutal melee attacks, the sociopathic slaphead is deadlier than ever. We caught up with IO Interactive's Christian Elverdam, gameplay director on Absolution, and talked evolution.

IO Interactive has had some big things to celebrate this fall, including the 25th anniversary of its "Hitman" franchise.

Feral Interactive will release IO Interactive-developed stealth action game Hitman: Absolution for Switch on November 13 for $29.99 / £19.99 / €24.99, the developer announced.

IO Interactive art director Rasmus Poulsen tells Pocket Tactics how Patrick Gibson's James Bond is influenced by unexpected places in 007 First Light.
I mean as someone who grew up playing all the 007 ganes, this fits right in. The games have always been like that. Start slow and sneaky, sh#t hits the fan and it turns onto an action set piece.
I really hope in the future any other Bond games made by different developers will use their own Bond and Universe rather than just using whoever is playing Bond in the films. It's a video game, they should have the freedom to do their own take rather than being restricted by what the films are doing.
Hopefully outfits and Easter eggs found in this game won't just all be of Craigs era, really want to see some original Sean Connery stuff.
I really hope they are not trying to make a SC:Conviction clone. Cover can be useful but if they add in automated take down attacks I will be really upset.
Dev's seem to keep changing the formula that made them so renowned in previous games and it drives me crazy. I just don't understand. Splinter Cell Conviction was such a slap in the face for the fans of Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. Resident Evil RC is now shaping up to be a run and gun, MW has a billion fricking perks and feels like your playing a slot machine.
I want Rainbow 6 Black Arrow/Vegas back. I want Spy vs. Mercs back. I want to play Resident Evil with 2 bullets that I guard with my life. Please Hitman, stay true to your roots. Please.
Good read!!! Have this one on my preorder list on Amazon. I always like Hitman and I like how open the levels are in the previous games.
I haven't seen a decent improvement in game AI in more than a decade.
I have, however, heard a lot of PR hyperbole.
I'll believe it when I see it.
sure.. need better hardware first..
hope it dosent turn out ANYTHING like kane and lynch
