
IGN - Hardcore sports enthusiasts have a lot of quality games to pick from that let them dig deeply into the minutia of their favorite athletic pastimes, but not everyone likes sweating all the details. As satisfying as that depth and realism can be, there's still a lot to be said for the simplicity of old-school arcade style sports games.

"One look at MLB Bobblehead Pros will make some people think that the game is nothing but shovelware, a cheap cash in with no quality at all. They might say a game with such charming visuals cannot be appealing to everybody, and that the gameplay might be broken. When you actually player MLB Bobblehead Pros, though, you realize that was all wrong. MLB Bobblehead Pros does have some errors of its own, but ultimately, it comes across as an ambitious, charming and extremely enjoyable game."

MLB Bobblehead Pros is a casual baseball simulation game made by Konami which uses bobbleheads as the players. The game was released on July 7th, 2011 for Xbox LIVE Arcade at the cost of 800 Microsoft Points. It is also scheduled for a PlayStation 3 release later this year. For many, MLB Bobblehead Pros biggest transgression is its pricing structure. While the main game is a reasonable ten-dollar purchase, participating in the Home Run Derby, All-Star Game, and building your own bobbles is offered at five dollars a component.
