Also, how can they not be pleased with what has been shown thus far? The PS3 version looks great. If you have any remote sense of logic, you'll realise that it WILL NOT reproduce what the PC is capable of. Does that really need to be reiterated over and over?

This article wasn't nessecary. Nothing new presented, and if anything, where are the people who are complaining? I don't see them anywhere. The media is just taking advantage.

I see both sides. ps3 owners have been shafted so many times with ports and promises that didnt pan out. So, our first reaction is to always question the integrity of the developer. That beimg said, I trust dice and I know that as powerful as the ps3 has proven to b, it isnt a pc. It is the lead platform and that gives me hope. But, when we get uncharted and killzone and then crysis 2, we see the difference between trying to make it work, and pushing the bar. We know what it can do, so we are not fooled. I know its hard to spend as much time on one console...and dont even mention cod to me. Its tired and old and after a billion dollars, all we get is a shitty port. I believe ps3 owners will get the best console fps to date this fall.

all i know is, from what ive seen (and not read, get to that in a sec.) is that B3 looks far more better then MW3 did. So MW3 can keeps it out of date game engine and no damage detection, and sell the game with its name... : ) ill be playing B3 and getting the most realistic experience by far, and on my ps3

BF3? They need to go back to BF2 for the mainline. Heck, I'd settle for true-to-source remakes of BF2 and BC2 (w/ Vietnam). Everything they've done in the 'modern' era is just bad.

I've not played 2042 myself but after v I don't feel like it. I played a few hours of v with friends but it feels ultra sterile I can't figure it out but the game looks and feels clinical. The storys in the campaign were also bland and uninteresting and felt like a dull trudge through checkpoints as you waited for an ending.

I've played the franchise dating back to it's original PC launch and PS2 spin off games I did enjoy 1 overall and it's take on placing you in different scenarios and battles was interesting but not all that good imo as you couldn't really connect with any characters longer than 2 hours.

hardline for all the hate it recived was a fun story and a new take but a bad mp game

I feel like v overall was the turning point and instead of showing the gritty reality of war they turned everything sterile and presented it in a clean cut boring frame in order to pump it full of weird micro transactions overall they spent far to much time on trying to implant ray tracing and other graphical flourishes and forgot to make the game enjoyable

I mean thats all we've wanted since BF4 but they keep doing everything we don't want.
