Arne from NaughtyDog.com posts: Much, much earlier today, Wednesday, June 29, we pushed out the 1.01 update to the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta. Full patch notes to the update are listed here.

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is proud to announce that Evan Wells, former Co-President of Naughty Dog and one of the most respected studio leaders in modern game development, will be honored with a prestigious Hall of Fame Award. Wells’ induction will take place at the 29th annual D.I.C.E. Awards on February 12, 2026, at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas. Neil Druckmann, a longtime collaborator from Naughty Dog, will present Wells with his Hall of Fame Award live at the ceremony.
Neil Druckmann, the creative director of The Last of Us, is working on a new, unannounced game at Naughty Dog.
Wait I thought they cancelled a game? Or did they announce another project?

Former Naughty Dog dev says Resident Evil 4 inspired Unchartted and even Gears of War, particularly the over-the-shoulder camera view.
It revolutionized third-person shooters, in a genius way that gives you full control of aiming.
I thought this was common knowledge. Resident Evil Revolutionised over the shoulder aiming in 3rd person shooters/action games
Influenced basically every third person action game made after it, GTA uses the over the shoulder perspective when shooting since the 4th installment, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2 too and the Batman Arkham series has the over the shoulder perspective as the main camera throughout the whole game series.
Obviously there are a ton more examples but you get the point 🗿.
After this update I went from not being able to play at all to playing just about all day. I thought UC2's multiplayer was ok, but I never got sucked in like many did. For whatever reason, this seems much more fun to me. Good stuff.
Yea, the connection is perfect now and the multiplayer has improved in every way.
now that it runs fix the clunky unfluid gameplay, thanks
I played all last night without a single issue. Play was fast, smooth and lag-free :)
I read some where that the lock for the Rank was 25, but i seen some people who are level 27.
Can anyone tell me the real lock on the rank?
