Duh, Mass Effect is basically every Asimovian Sci Fi cliché made into a game. Of course you're going to find reminiscent themes in about every single piece of Science Fiction work.

Reminds me a bit of the walkers in avatar and the iron man suit that belong to the bad guy in the first film. Still dying to get my hands on ME3.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.
