Graphical Comparison: Battlefield 3 vs Crysis 2

SystemLink says: "Graphics aren't everything - people know that. A game might look pretty, but you have to factor in story, gameplay, length, AI, and countless other elements before deciding how good it is. Having said that..."

Bf3 looks more realistic it's not hard to tell which games looks better

hiredhelp5366d ago

What has this game got to do with crysis.
two differnt engines. each dev have there own way of doing things.
oh by the way if this supposed to be on pc is this the dx11 version i bet not.

i hate comparisons.

Hufandpuf5366d ago

These are 2 games that have claimed to be next gen. It's only fair to compare, but rest assured there is no competition between the 2.

poopturd_mcgee5366d ago

why cant we wait till they are both released before doing these stupid comparisons?

Tank_Commander_E65365d ago

@2fk

BF3 looks photorealistic, while Cry2 looks a little cartoony.

i hate when people do comparisons to games that have not come out yet, well in general i hate comparisons just a lazy way to create an article

ATiElite5366d ago

There is NO comparison PERIOD
Nothing compares to BF3 PERIOD

BF3 PC is DX11 from the ground up and has ZERO DX9 support. BF3 in essence is the new Crysis..."you got a PC, cool".

But Can It Run BF3?

Crysis 2 is a DX9 console port with DX11 super glued on. Before the DX11 patch it really didn't look that much better than Crysis 1.

Metro 2033 Arma II and STALKER Call of Pripyat are still graphical beast but just not on BF3 level.

Arma III whoa! now that's a different story in the making!

hiredhelp5365d ago

I hope its true DX11 spent alot on 2 video cards.
however arma 3 i didnt know they making a number 3.?

Derekvinyard135366d ago

i will say it once again because it seems to be common on this site. Crysis 2- Released BF-Not Released. A finished game compared to a unfinished game

BeaArthur5366d ago

As are most of the comparisons we see.

M1chl5366d ago

Oh man, where did BF3 comes out? I just have to miss it...
---
You do realize, that graphics from trailer/gameplay trailer could be different in finished product? So can we just wait a little bit longer to do this comparison?

Battlefield 3 Cut Missions From Campaign Detailed by Former DICE Dev

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign

XiNatsuDragnel422d ago

I wish someone can get those EA game leaks to see all the cut content ngl

anast422d ago

Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

Bf4 was fun hope the new bf is just as good.

hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D

Knightofelemia1207d ago

You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.

MadLad1207d ago

We'll see what happens now that Zampella is overlooking the series.
