TSA: "I’ve never suffered from motion sickness in any game I’ve ever played before but I think that’s what happened with Sonic Generations. On the PS3 demo, the screen zooms out slightly as you speed up but your view of Sonic himself is generally tighter than it was 20 years ago. The Xbox 360 demo, oddly, doesn’t seem to zoom in and out quite as much but it still suffers from some sickness-inducing motion effects."

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a remaster of Sonic Generations released in 2011. The real question is, does the remaster live up to the hype of the original?

Sonic the Hedgehog has a long and turbulent history in videogames, but which are the best games featuring the blue bur?
Generations over Mania? Please… Generations doesnt have any new ideas in the levels/bosses.
Also a top 7 of Sonic games shouldn’t have any 3D crap and contain at least one of the 8-bit titles.
Sonic CD getting snubbed is weird. Number 1 is definitely interchangable between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Top 7 for me
7 cd
6 mania
5 Frontiers
4 sonic 3
3 sonic 1
2 sonic and knuckles
1 sonic 2
Sometimes I feel like the Sonic Advanced games just didn’t exist with how much it’s always forgotten 😭

The divide between both iterations of Sonic is now reaching spin-off territory, and the way Sega is handling it is both a blessing and a curse.
Motion sickness can definitely ruin a game...
To be honest I had the same issue. I didn't get motion sick, but my head was like "woe fix that" but I didn't see any settings to fix the motion blur.
Its like at certain times, the camera pans in & out too quick & your eyes can't focus fast enough. I thought it was a glitch at first but I played it again & it happened twice it seems to pan out at certain parts of the level. Once its adjusted it should be fine after all its just a demo plenty of time to fix.
I had low expectations for the demo given the amount of shovelware titles but I was surprised its alot like Sonic 1 might even be a proper sequel to Sonic 3 (although I know its not a real a sequel, it kinda feels like old Sonic or middle aged if you prefer).
I thought it was just me but the demo hurt my eyes throughout most of the demo until the very end. I've never suffered with motion sickness in games, and I'm perfectly fine with 3D, but this really got to me...
and what was also bad was the stupid timer on the demo, WTF Sega?
