Is there more to the upcoming DMC 're-boot' than meets the eye? Made 2 Game takes a look at the evidence that suggests this may be a sequel to DMC 2 and not a completely new take on the franchise, and how what we know so far could fit in with this theory.

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

When you reboot a series usually it brought with great delight from its fanbase/audience...this reboot not so much.
This game will hopefully be dead on arrival so Capcom learn their lesson and employ Platinum Games to do the next true DMC.
I'm really trying to be as objective as possible with this game, but I do not like the turn that has taken this brand.
It gives me the feeling that it will come out a mediocre game.
Lara Croft is so lucky these guys are not making her reboot. LOL I have this hilarious mental image of Lara Croft looking like a chick from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

UE3, NT, shitty looking character generic enemies and art direction PLUS the game lacks style and flair, and one of the most important aspects of a DMC game is the cutscene direction. Honestly, without Yuji Shimomura there is no point.
there is still time capcom cancel the game and invest its money on other projects like a real DMC5 game, RE6, new Onimusha or even Dino Crisis!
