That's good news. The more the merrier. I personally believe every gamer should experience this game, and it's good to see Rockstar's doing justice to the PC community. Good for business, good for the industry.

Electroshocked5444d ago

Even better news would be some info on Agent.

joydestroy5444d ago

yeah that's what i wanna hear, some solid and good info regarding Agent

Electroshocked5444d ago

@joydestroy I was waiting eagerly to see something on Agent at Sony's E3 press conference, but no, we get absolutely nothing on Agent at all, I was pretty disappointed. On the other hand, I was pretty happy about the PSVita details, Sly 4 reveal and that Playstation branded 3D TV reveal, which I probably won't get due to the size of it. Anyway It would have been great if they at least revealed some info on Agent though.

Still no Read Dead Redemption??

evrfighter5444d ago (Edited 5444d ago )

Oh wow nice...but I'm really looking forward to red dead. That game has an environment that begs to be played at 1080p with no jaggies

Excellent news! More gamers deserve the chance to play this great game, IMHO.

Raf1k15444d ago

This is great news but TBH I think I'd prefer having RDR on PC insted of this.

Haven't managed to get round to getting L.A. Noire yet on PS3 as I'm still sifting through a massive backlog, will probably pick up the PC version of it when it comes out in the Autumn as long as Rockstar optimise it properly unlike GTA IV on PC.

BlackKnight5444d ago

Hey, to be honest, GTA4 on PC now runs pretty good, they really did a HUGE jump in performance with patch 1.4 almost two years ago.

Also, they really let the engine go WAY further than what the console does, around 4x the amount of people, cars AND a draw distance that is just insane. Plus the lighting system has EVERY light cast a shadow, not just the sun and 1 or 2 lights when inside a building.

It is fun as HELL on PC mad, the modding community is amazing:

Little video I made messing with the tire friction physics after seeing others do the same, HILARIOUS times man.

Balflear875444d ago

PS3 version even has MLAA, it's good news for PC owners, but i don't think this version will provide something that wasn't already experienced by consola owners.

kharma455444d ago

The 3D on the PC version will be sort-of a USP, as well as the usual PC advantages of higher resolutions etc.

bozebo5444d ago

3D is a usual PC advantage. You can tell your drivers to try to render any game in 3D, regardless of the game's support for 3D or not (though it won't always work fine if the game doesn't support it)

Are_The_MaDNess5444d ago

they got ton of games that got good support with Nvidia 3D

CernaML5444d ago

PS3 has 2x MSAA actually. Glad to see Rockstar still supporting the PC userbase.

Are_The_MaDNess5444d ago

2x is quite low, the PC version will at least support 16x

Balflear875444d ago

It is really just 2x MSAA? it felt like MLAA to me... so weird

GodsHand5444d ago

I think it would get a mod to arrest people, instead of having to always kill them.

Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.

It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

porkChop681d ago

Brendan McNamara is a brilliant writer and director but he should never, ever be in charge of a studio. What he did to those devs was far beyond "crunch", and it went on for, what, 7 years? That's insane.

But I'm glad to see some of that team have come together again to create something new. A psychological thriller sounds right up my alley.

anast681d ago

I would have liked to see a new noir game.

I been enjoying LA noire my first time playing it the vibe is🔥
