Sure, Halo is best known as a series of videogames (and maybe, in the future, a movie...maybe) but the Halo novels are sitting on a shelf at your local bookstore right now, waiting for you to pick them up and read them. The four Halo best-sellers (Halo: The Fall of Reach, Halo: The Flood, Halo: First Strike, and Halo: Ghosts of Onyx) were joined yesterday by a fifth novel set in the Halo universe: Joseph Staten's Halo: Contact Harvest.
We know you can't stick a grenade on words, but the latest Halo novel is very, very cool and manages to capture the immediacy and excitement of Bungie's videogame saga in sentences, as well as providing a interesting subtext for the mayhem. Contact Harvest is set before the first Halo game, and tells the story of humanity's (and Avery Johnson's) first violent run-in with The Covenant.
TheFeed talked to Contact Harvest's author Joseph Staten about all things Halo, and the connection between videogames and Literature, with a capitol "L."

Remakes of the campaigns featured in Xbox Game Studios' Halo 2 and Halo 3 are currently in development, according to a new rumor.
That's Microsoft's gaming division for you...kill off developers making new ip while trying to capitalize off some long lost glory that has no hope of ever being what it once was thanks to recent decision making favoring unrealistic profit goals and greed. What a joke.
So what’s their solution to having multiplayer? Wait until Halo 7?
That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..
Why not just port the MCC? 🤔 That was the easiest layup ever and you completely missed it
I wonder if Microsoft will port Reach over to Playstation I quite enjoyed that game. I played Halo 3 and it was not bad I have Halo 2 on the OG Xbox I just need some cables to hook up to my tv to play it.

GOG appears to be teasing potential re-releases of Konami's survival horror game, Silent Hill, and Xbox Game Studios' Halo: Combat Evolved.
It's crazy to think that GOG will have Silent Hill 1/2/4, Dino Crisis 2, and Resident Evil 2/3 before the PSN. What the actual fudge is Sony even doing over there?
I will probably pick up Silent Hill 1 right away if GOG gets it, I grabbed BOF4 as soon as it was released, haven't picked up Dino Crisis yet since I already bought it on PS.

Xbox Game Studios' Halo: Combat Evolved Remake is reportedly planned to release in late 2026 to celebrate 25 years of Xbox.
They coulda started with Halo 3 remake ... I know Halo CE remaster was not proper with the art style but still, remaking after a remaster seems dull, when Halo 3 and Reach have started to show some age.
The Halo books are great, I own them all. I am really excited for Joseph Staten's entry into the series, as he is the man behind it all
