Expected to be released a little later this summer is Gameforge's free-to-play computer game Star Trek: Infinite Space. News10's Game Guys had a chance to sit down with Saman Pakzad, one of the game's producers, to learn more.

Neocrisis: Any Star Trek fan should start to worry right about now. The reason is that Star Trek: Infinite Space, a upcoming MMO, may be cancelled by the Gameforge who will need to layoff some of its staff. We do not know when exactly the layoffs will occur.
I'm glad to hear that paying players won't receive gameplay advantages.
Sounds like a good deal... but how do you keep a game like this going with little income. Star Trek games have never been massive popular, I will def give this a go though.
