Little-known Danish studio Interceptor Entertainment is creating an Unreal Engine-powered remake of the classic Duke Nukem 3D, due for release later this year.
The company has enjoyed the full blessing and support of Gearbox Software for Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded on a non-commercial basis, and has employed over 30 people to recreate the 1996 classic for 2011's PCs. The original voice of Duke, Jon St. John, will record original material for the game.

Duke Nukem Forever originally began its life as a sidescroller instead of a shooter back in 1996, and that canceled version has just been leaked.
Very cool, but i don't know how real this is... I'll check it out later to find out.

Duke Nukem Forever, the troubled FPS from Gearbox and 3D Realms, has been restored to more traditional 90s shooter thanks to a sweeping “remaster” mod
kinda of a misleading title.
Mod features:
Sprinting removed and faster player movement
Jump height increased
Swim speed is much faster
Player can now hold breath underwater for 45 seconds instead of 15
Weapon rebalance and screen shake when shooting removed
2/4 weapon limit completelly removed
Quicksaves (F5 by default)
Depth of Field removed and new post processing effects
Driving sections are now in first person perspective
yw.

Duke Nukem Forever, the infamous and controversial FPS from 3D Realms, apparently looked much better before launch, as modders discover various cut features
Wow, that advanced lighting makes a huge difference to the visuals. I get that Gearbox tried to slap everything together and release a finished product. But it seems like they cut out a lot of content that would have made the experience more enjoyable. That's a shame.
Well if its a remake of Duke Nukem 3D, I don't think anything will go wrong. Hopefully this game will live up to the original DN3D.
Duke Nukem forever didn't deserve the harsh scores it got, hopefully this will be better.
I was scared that Jon St John wouldn't be in the game.
Heard about this a LONG time ago, but you know it'll be better than DNF.
I'm going to really enjoy playing this... in 2025.
Kidding. It looks pretty good actually, if it's genuinely coming out this year all the better.
OMFG! I used to play DN3D in Electronics class in high school back in the day. We set up a network and I was the best player in the class! I used to use the trip mines to set up devious traps! I was also ace with the jetpack! OMG I can't wait!
