probably using the 256gbs bandwidth in the edram for some amazing things like free hdr and god rays. 360 does have its advantages when up against ps3 might be hard for fanboys to understand. pc is still a generation ahead though so I'd be going with the pc version thank you very much,

I was happy with what I saw from the BF3 footage, the whiners were probably PC gamers, I think very few PS3 owners complained. As for this extra feature on the xbox360, I'm thinking kinect.

They need to release a video for xbox sometimes soon..rather then talking about some magical lightning system they made. If they wait to long it will be the "disappointment" of the ps3 all over again.

I'm honestly sick of reading these articles by DICE developers, I just want them to shutup and just reveal these features in gameplay reveals or near release, I feel like they're talking up their game too much.

Single player split into two discs while mutiplayer will also be on it's own disc.
If DICE thinks that three discs is "awesome" then who are we to say otherwise.

Battlefield 3 will a different lighting solution across all three platforms. That's amazing that DICE is showing love for everybody and I'm suspecting that no one read the article but me since I'm only one who mentioned the lighting.

Update: I just saw someone's about the lighting so shrugs.

the 360 doesnt have an exclusive feature or content - the "feature" is that theyve made a new custom lighting solution for the 360, like they did with the PS3.

it should be an automatic ban if you post a comment that clearly shows you didnt read the article.

They're going to use 10MB EDRAM for some lighting effect only on 360 like they're using SPUs on PS3 to do some other effects. Stupid comparisons will arise, fanboys will ablaze, blood will be spilt. Nothing happens.

I am kind of hoping that it has a daylight to nighttime option. But not seeing that would be anything specific just to the one console though.

well the only reason i will get this for 360 is because the ps3's controller isnt very good for fps.

BF3? They need to go back to BF2 for the mainline. Heck, I'd settle for true-to-source remakes of BF2 and BC2 (w/ Vietnam). Everything they've done in the 'modern' era is just bad.

I've not played 2042 myself but after v I don't feel like it. I played a few hours of v with friends but it feels ultra sterile I can't figure it out but the game looks and feels clinical. The storys in the campaign were also bland and uninteresting and felt like a dull trudge through checkpoints as you waited for an ending.

I've played the franchise dating back to it's original PC launch and PS2 spin off games I did enjoy 1 overall and it's take on placing you in different scenarios and battles was interesting but not all that good imo as you couldn't really connect with any characters longer than 2 hours.

hardline for all the hate it recived was a fun story and a new take but a bad mp game

I feel like v overall was the turning point and instead of showing the gritty reality of war they turned everything sterile and presented it in a clean cut boring frame in order to pump it full of weird micro transactions overall they spent far to much time on trying to implant ray tracing and other graphical flourishes and forgot to make the game enjoyable

I mean thats all we've wanted since BF4 but they keep doing everything we don't want.
