Tbh I would be fine if BF3 looked like BC2 with some sort of anti-aliasing, its the player count im a bit annoyed at but hey what can you do.

Console fans buy a console simply to play games. A majority of them dont want to shell out money for a PC, nor do they care. So when PC fans come in touting "oh I squeezed out max settings with my super deluxe HD value 2 year old card, but ill need to upgrade again" WE DONT CARE. Simply go to PSN store, I think its even on Xbox Live not sure, and download the Onslaught Trailer for the game. They used the PC VERSION for this trailer, no where on it does it say it was on the PC. All it says was "this used actual gameplay" and its on a PS3 STORE. Now suddenly these gamers watching this trailer on their console see that "hey it doesn't look like that, wth?" after PS3 gameplay is shown. Thats it. Not everyone is smart enough to see it was a PC demo....I don't care if you were, if he was, if everyone here IS, some people are not.

When i see the graphics on the PC i know that the console version wont look that good. As mighty as the PS3 is it will never compare to a top of the line gaming PC. But what matters in the end are the games and thats something i have plenty of with the PS3.

I really didn't think the difference was that immense from the high res screens, It'll all be in the FPS I guess, I'll get it for PS3 though, all my friends are on it..

That said I have recently noticed my roomies old editing computer gathering dust in the dark room, Its 3 years old and has a quad core cPU, 8GB ram and I'm not sure what Graphics card it has.... I'm no computer whiz but I wonder how capable it will be...

BF3? They need to go back to BF2 for the mainline. Heck, I'd settle for true-to-source remakes of BF2 and BC2 (w/ Vietnam). Everything they've done in the 'modern' era is just bad.

I've not played 2042 myself but after v I don't feel like it. I played a few hours of v with friends but it feels ultra sterile I can't figure it out but the game looks and feels clinical. The storys in the campaign were also bland and uninteresting and felt like a dull trudge through checkpoints as you waited for an ending.

I've played the franchise dating back to it's original PC launch and PS2 spin off games I did enjoy 1 overall and it's take on placing you in different scenarios and battles was interesting but not all that good imo as you couldn't really connect with any characters longer than 2 hours.

hardline for all the hate it recived was a fun story and a new take but a bad mp game

I feel like v overall was the turning point and instead of showing the gritty reality of war they turned everything sterile and presented it in a clean cut boring frame in order to pump it full of weird micro transactions overall they spent far to much time on trying to implant ray tracing and other graphical flourishes and forgot to make the game enjoyable

I mean thats all we've wanted since BF4 but they keep doing everything we don't want.
