I'm most likely going to be getting both. 3DS strictly for Nintendo games and PSV for 3rd party and 1st part games. PSV will eventually overtake the 3DS though.

Are you people serious with all that vita hype? You people remind me of myself, when psp was revealed I was so happy saying how all those ps2 games would be on psp, and guess what nothing was on psp. I remember when sony showed GT4 for psp then it came out 6 years later...

For me the 3DS wins, Nintendo EAD is my favorite developer and since I can't stand motion control games I haven't played their franchises since their DS release. Can't wait to get to play Animal Crossing and Mario Kart again.

ehh, i dont care much about 3rd party support. I am going with the 3ds once some games drop . The PSV sounds nice but not interested in Uncharted or LBP. Id rather play Mario, starfox, and animal crossing. Playing FPS on the vita sounds nice but FPS games are boring without online to me. I wont be at a WIFI spot when im outside.

in short: im buying 3ds for nintendo games + a few others like Medabots

i cnt see a single reason to buy a 3ds IMO i am goin to wait for the vita its wayy more quality and way more versitile and if i want to play nintendo games ill buy a wii they are only about $180

At the end of the day though, I really could care less because I'm going to do the smart thing and own both... as they both offer completely different experiences to the player.

and I have to say that even though I have 6 games for it, I'm quite disappointed in it. It's basically a DS with 3D in it. That's why I'm excited for Vita because it has potential and games I can get excited for.

Sorry but VITA is much more for the same price. Nintendo is just throwing out the same bone for their rabid fans to chew on again. At this point Nintendo is going to have to do a lot more then throw another Mario, Pokemon, Zelda and Metroid in my face. The VITA has some nice new IPs and Lil Deviants shows some intresting ways to use both touch pads. I tried to give Nintendo a chance with the DS and they let me down. Not this time.

Nowhere in this article did I hate on the 3DS, I actually just bought mine today. When I used the N64 to Playstation 3 comparison, that was just saying how dumb all these articles are, showing graphics comparisons. This was a completely fair article just showing main points of each system side by side.

we as gamers get two great portable systems that have two different selling points one has great no glasses real 3d.and one has high end graphics!!but all we will do is fight and cry about the one system we don't have or don't like cause of crap sites like this!

so even though they both do music,movies[3ds's movie,an tv download store opens this year with the movies in 3d and free netflix app,and a short form free 3d video service that gives you a new free 3d vid everyday like a music video,comedy video,sports or stuff like that,and we know vita should have the netflix app and a good 2d movie store!],both got two camera's that do AR games.[3ds takes 3d pics and they are adding 3d video to take live 3d vids of yourself and family,and i imagine vita will probably have a video camera function too],both will have online friend list and online gaming through wifi[vita will have 3g from at&t that you buy a monthly data plan from],both have web browsers,new downloadable games[3ds also has a virtual console with gameboy,gameboy color,sega game gear,turbografx 16,and classics remade in 3d,and vita should let you download full retail games to sd cards]and 3ds is backwards compatible with all ds and dsi games,and you can move your dsiware games from your dsi/dsi XL to your 3ds for free.and with vita you can move your digital downloads from your psp to ps vita for free!they can both use high capacity sd cards for game saves and downloadable games and stuff.[3ds has about a 1gig and half built-in so you can keep dsiware games,pictures,and voice recordings,]and 3ds comes with a 2 gig card i don't know what vita comes with.

so they both do alot of the same stuff.but both got good different selling points and first party software is one of those points!! so i could see owning both systems cause with these portables we are getting the best ever made!!! but instead of us celebrating that and enjoying knowing what ever one you get is going to be great.

I dont want to hurt anyones feelings. But i prefer the games on the Vita. Also the system is not even out yet and we dont even know for sure what the launch titles will be.

For the price the Vita seems like a much better value because of the level of tech it contains.

Sony choose to sell at a loss Nintendo at a profit. Both strategies are good but Sonys will give you more than what you paid for.

Both systems have their strengths. Just get them both I say.
