The first game has sold 1.5 million so far, not even counting the upcoming PS3 version, so that's not an unrealistic number at all, especially considering that the sequel looks a lot more promising.

I'm fairly interested myself despite passing on the original. Can always use more stealth in my FPS's, so if the gameplay delivers, I'll pick up a copy.

I'm with you, too many shooters go for the "hollywood" experience. Give me more stealth games.

sequels include:

SMG OMG: Gunman

Pistol: Cock the Glock

Launchers: Rocket Xtreme

Shotgun: Sawed off and Pissed Off

and a possible throwback to Goldeneye:

Hands: Slappers Only

on topic: didn't play the first, but this game does intrigue, could get fun, but that's largely dependent on the level design.

So long as they fix the AI so you can actually be stealthy, include co op and make the mp maps way bigger, I'm sold. I like the last one, despite its short comings but with so few maps it got boring quick online.

Is this a trend from Publishers/developers now? They release a statement saying what their projected sales are for a certain game as if to challenge buyers to meet said goal? Didn't the GoW3 designer just say how they wanted 10 million sales?

As Principle Skinner once stated "Prove us wrong kids. Prove us wrong."

Rightfully so...

Except ARK is an early access, which either means it's either alpha or beta. Don't get me wrong! I'm looking forward to the game, it's on my wish list, but I will not pay money for something that is not fully complete.

Long gone are the days of "Free Beta."

GhostTurtle4000d ago (Edited 4000d ago )

Thats too bad, because the game is the pc equivalent to crack.

ChrisW4000d ago

No... WoW and EQ are.

GhostTurtle4000d ago

WoW and EQ where. *fixed*

ChrisW4000d ago

Oh my... The past tense of the "be" verb for third person plural is "were." Not "where."

-Embarrassing!!!-

Koopdogg4000d ago

ARK is only out a wet week with less than a year developement released as EA so YEH it's in alpha.

Has had more content on release than nearly any other early access title and more patches in a week than most titles in a month to even six months.

What in gods name are you complaining about????????

Awesome i like your statement above, you're a perfect candidate to stay away and be kept away from EA game development because with above statement,i wish more people would be like you , who go an buy EA games and start whining and ranting bcos they don't grasp its concept would just follow you.
