Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.

This of course was their goal all along, create a universe and games in that universe that are loved, then make a game that keeps on giving..the mmo. Id expect a Dragon Age one as well some day.
