Sledgehammer Games is one of two studios along with Infinity Ward to create Modern Warfare 3. After the Zampella fallout from IW, Activision had the studio responsible for the not so modern warfare, Treyarch, to go on and create the billion dollar selling title Call of Duty: Black Ops. Now from the remains of Infinity Ward and newly formed studio Sledgehammer, comes Modern Warfare 3.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I know who will be watching Jimmy Fallon tonight...
THIS GUY!
It wont be even close to modern warfare when we are 10+ years from 2011.
They really should not have called any of the COD's modern warfare since modern means: Of or relating to the present or recent times
Just sayin'
It's so Modern it's still shares the same basic look of COD 4 a game that came out in 2007. So Modern they should just call it MW2.5 and released it as a $20 expansion CD. So Modern that while other games have received very significant graphical updates in the same time period COD has not. So Modern that another FPS coming out within the same timeframe as MW2 makes it look like a PS2 game. That's how Modern MW3 will be.
I also enjoy the Single-player campaigns immensely. The first time. Multiplayer, I can only hope, will be much better. But, by the way things are going (read: CoD elite), I doubt that the game will be made for the fans. It will be for the money.
