Zootfly's Ghostbusters game 100 per cent dead

From Gamer.tm: "Despite showing early promise in the form of low-resolution unlicensed YouTube videos, which you can still see here, Zootfly's in-development Ghostbusters title will never ever see the light of day.

While many nostalgic hopefuls have been praying since January that Zootfly would be able to eventually overcome the red tape and legal tedium standing in the way of the release of its Ghostbusters title, it simply can't happen – the license has been given to another developer who is working on its own as-yet unseen game."

That's so sad. It was going to be one of those true underdog stories, to give all no name developers and hopefuls something to look up to.

I am not sure if Zootfly would be aloud to do this or not. But what if they changed the game so it is not a Ghostbusters game instead. So you would just change the characters and the things that remind you of Ghostbusters and then you would be able to bring it out. I am not sure if it would work or not. But it would be cool if it could. because the game did show promise.

Review - Ghostbuster The Video Game Remastered (Switch) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Todd Eggleston: "Ghostbusters The Video Game is nostalgia done right, and puts you right back in 1984. It isn’t a masterpiece of a game, and neither was the movie, but it reminds us again that it is ok for entertainment to just be entertaining. It is a game that deserves to be remastered and remembered. And 35 years later, it also serves to remind us that a remaster doesn’t always need to be Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott. Sometimes, Ray Parker Jr. is exactly who you need to call."
