Fable II launched back in 2008 and remains the best the series has offered. Ahead of the series comeback, it's time to look at the classic.

Fable 2 was the best inthe series. Peter waaaaaaay over promised with fable 1 and it was good but disappointing. He didn't go crazy eith hype for the second game and it was surprisingly awesome. Then he ran his mouth promoting 3 and it was the worst of the 3.
Funny story: Fable 3 had a funny way of keeping the promises you made in the first half of the game and having enough money to defeat the darkness.
You only had to collect enough money to buy 2 stores in a busy market district. You then raise the prices to maximum and you turn xbox 360 internal clock 99 or more years ahead.
The next time you load the game, all the rents from the 99 years are collected immediately.
But yes I agree that 3 was the weakest of the three.
I only got to play it once 😩 I'm so tempted to buy a Xbox 360 slim but planning on getting the series x soon since I got a PS5 in February Im ready to get saints row 1&2 back, GTA 4, fable 2, but I also want to play infamous 1&2 again Sony screwed us over with the stream only for saints row 2 and other gems smh
I didn't like Fable 3 that much, but you guys made it amusing lol.
I really liked Fable 3 , I thought it was by far the funniest game of the series.
Fable 3 blew. I just beat it 2 days ago, and I can say for certain I wont ever be playing it again.
Its slow as hell, partly by design (it was not ported well to pc) and partly just by the tasks. Tons of things just dont even make sense, from dating, (every women wants you to deliver a letter before she'll go out with you,) to combat (guys block melee non-stop, but die pathetically to any magic.) Plain and simple its just not a fun game.
The humor can be funny at times, but is just pointless dribble the other half. And the good vs evil choices are completely irrelevant. You can't really play evil at all, the story will basically force you into being good, or somewhat evil but for the greater good.
I could look past a lot of its problems, but the game is tedious and wears on you. And as a side note, I was so rich by the end I payed for the entire army out of my own pocket, so I could be as evil as I wanted and it didn't matter one bit.
I never played fable 2, but compared to fable 1 with its great villian Jack and tasks like the arena, this game is junk.
One of the most overrated rpgs ever.Compared to other rpgs its just child's play.It gets so much attention just because xbox360 got very few rpgs and its the best of the worsts.Compare it to any pc rpg,it feels like dollhouse game.
Lionhead Studios haven't made a good game in a long time (I loved 'The Movies' back in 05/06. Fable 1 was great, and I kept getting excited for Fable 2... only to be dissapointed by a rubbish combat system (amongst other things). Fable 3 somehow made things worse...
